Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you the above named gentleman – a formidable, talented, Bible-believing lad – a force to reckon with. Drums, please!
Jordan Armstrong is a 26 year old native of Louisiana – a vocalist, producer and songwriter, under the spiritual leadership of Dr. Calvin N. Emery of Times of Refreshing World Outreach Ministry. He began cultivating his vocal genius at the age of five, and later on formed a business with his crony Jeshua Williams a.k.a “TedyP”, which helped carve his music career. He now makes phenomenal music that has allowed him to share the stage with Grammy Award winning stars like Mary Mary. His debut album Champion was released in 2009, earning him outstanding reviews, and award nominations in Best Urban Gospel Song with Drive Me Crazy, and Best Urban Gospel Artist. He has since grown, releasing three albums and being featured in two, including Canton Jones‘ – yet another award winning gospel artist.
His latest single is no mediocre. With a crisp sound and tight beats, his sultry voice in You Should Know would easily get a stoic’s head bumping, and would certainly not escape a lady’s attention. His previous song So Easy is a passionate ballad with a soothing tempo, conveying his allegiance to the faith. I’m Down, on the other hand, possesses a more urban feel, and collaborates Canton, Dee-1 and Jai. Overall, his excellence in production effortlessly reinvents the R&B genre.
Armstrong possesses a gift that is redefining the gospel scene world wide. Endowed with vocals and a zeal that can halt a stampeding wildebeest, there is simply no stopping this young man.
